Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a 2011 American film science fiction. The film is directed by Rupert Wyatt. This is a restart of the Planet of the Apes series, which will serve as the foundation for an original story for a new series of films. Its starting point is equal to the fourth film in the original series, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972), but this is not a direct remake in that it does not fit into the continuity of this series.It was released in the United States and Canada in 5 August 2011.
